Filmmaking here with articles, tech, story and other stuff to learn, inspire and maybe piss you off as in "Why didn't I know that before!" Believe me, happens to me all day long. Always more to learn and strategize for greater success and Joy in this amazing filmmaking world. I enjoy action films but really good ones in what I like to call "Arthouse Action" which are films like "Die Hard", "Enemy of the State" and others with quick witted words coupled with quicker action. But make no mistake I prize and enjoy the Art of Cinema in many genres and eras.
SWWay-Privacy: Secure Your Metadata
Yes, Metadata is all the file data we think about - date created, modified, name, time, etc., But Metadata about communications is often ignored by people in understanding their own security. But get this:
“Historically, metadata has had less privacy protection under the law in some countries—including the U.S.—than the contents of communications. The police in many countries can obtain the records of who you called last month more easily than they can arrange a wiretap of your phone line to hear what you’re actually saying. Or, a government agency could purchase metadata without needing to clear the sorts of technical or legal hurdles that might be required to read content.”
It includes:
The subject line of your emails
The length of your conversations
The time frame in which a conversation took place
Your location when communicating (as well as with whom)
